The Memory Coat - Book Review by Mohammed

This book has a kid who lost his parents and he lived with his grandparents in Russia. He had a cousin and they made up stories together. One day, they were going to Ellis island (in America) because their house was surrounded by cossacks. Later the boy got hurt when they were playing, then they went to the doctor in the boat. The doctor did not understand their language and he put a sign on his coat to indicate that he is sick.

What happens at the end? Will he make it to the new island? Read the book to find out.

The character in this book, the boy with his mom's coat, is just like me. I like to draw, have an adventure and I like to travel. If my mom made me something (like this boy's coat), I will never throw away, because it is special to me.
